More than just a letter distinguishes these M10 micro gearmotors from our popular N10 (and N20) models! They might just be the next big thing, by which we mean they’re really tiny!
We worked with our brushed motor suppliers to develop an even-more-power-dense alternative to the fabled N10, and the result is on-paper-performance that puts most N-class motors to shame in a smaller formfactor, with a 33% weight saving. These things pack neodymium magnets and all. At their nominal voltage of 6V, our M10 motors stall at ~0.8A with a stall torque of up to 0.45 kg/cm.
These motors were brought to life with a beta-unit batch. The product photo above is of a beta unit! Production models have two subtle changes (improvements from feedback):
- Chunkier main screws: which now slightly protrude from the front plate of the gearmotor. See the drawing below/CAD model!
- Stronger final stage gear and shaft: a longer gear and larger shaft diameter. This makes no formfactor differences but is fun to know!
A single package contains:
- 2x gearmotors (of the chosen ratio)

- Dimensions (W*H*L): ⌀10*8*~23.5mm + ~9mm D-shaft
- Shaft dimensions (D*L): ⌀2.5*~9mm + 9mm long, 2mm A-F flat section
- Mounting screws: 2x M1.4*0.3, 7.2mm between centres, 37° from horizontal
- Weight: 5.4g
- All metal construction, including steel gears

- Input voltage: nominally 6V, 0.6-8.4V (ideal for 2s LiPo)
- No-load RPM (20:1/30:1/50:1): ~1500/~1000/~600 RPM
- Loaded RPM (20:1/30:1/50:1): ~1100/~860/~500 RPM
- No-load current (at 6V): ~0.080A
- Working current (at 6V): 0.1A-0.6A
- Stall current: 0.8A
- Stall torque (20:1/30:1/50:1): ~0.2/~0.3/~0.45 kg/cm
